Pressing the Favourites button then pressing one of the numeric buttons to choose a favourite SOUND results in the PERFORMANCE changing randomly, playing pre-recorded WAVs and generally not behaving itself.

I don't know whether this is the expected behaviour, but I want the Favourites selection process to affect SOUNDS ONLY, not pre-recorded stuff or past performances  Angry

Be aware that you can change Performances and Tones using Favorites. I haven't dug into this yet, but perhaps a closer look at the manual to see what mode you need to be in to call up the correct one will be of help..?

When you are in performance list- pressing favorite button brings numbers (1-8), prefix at visible performance list shown on screen. So with numbers 1-8 (tone buttons) you can choose performance just pressing one key. Numbers 0 and 9 are reserved to scroll page up or down in list. This is faster way to choose performances without scrolling and pushing a wheel.
If you want to access favorite tones, you mustn't be in performance list menu.

Thanks Deja   Smiley

This is actually VERY useful once you understand it  Cool But from reading the manual (P34) you wouldn't know about the performance favourite selection. You only find this out on P54, and it's not in the index!

Diki, would you like to move this from the Bug section to the Tips section?

You're welcome  Smiley
This feature works on BK5 too (with latest firmware update:1.05). Everything is same about this on BK5 except you have to press and hold NUMERIC button to activate favorite tones or favorite performances.
